Big Wheel Bikes (Georgetown/Arlington):
As one of the cheaper full-service options, this is my go-to. They’ll adjust your brakes, wheels, cables, gears, and headset in their standard tune-up. Or if you don’t need all that, they have a mini tune-up for even less. Standard tune-up: $130
The Bike House Clinic (Petworth/Brookland):
This volunteer group provides professional bike maintenance tools and teaches you how to repair your own bike during weekend clinics from April to November. You can find them at Petworth Ace Hardware (Saturday) and Annie's Ace Hardware Brookland (Sundays).

Trek Bike Shop (Anacostia):
Trek takes walk-ins and provides 24-hour turnaround service for tune-ups. If you're looking just to adjust your brakes or shifters they have an option for just $70.

Mt. Pleasant Farmers Market Bike Clinic (Mt. Pleasant):
This bike clinic sets up shop at the Mt. Pleasant Farmers Market every Saturday from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. They won’t give your bike a full tune-up, but they will help you with specific issues. Get there early, the line gets long fast.

This hip and friendly bike shop is popular among D.C. cyclists. Simple repairs like flat fixes and small adjustments can be done on a walk-in basis. Tune-ups and major work are scheduled for weekdays.

Conte’s is everywhere, making it convenient and reliable. They also repair e-bikes, which not all shops can. They have different levels of service from a $40 safety check to a $550 New Bike Feel package.
