D.C. is a great tattoo city! But with so many options, it can be hard to find the artist to make your vision come to life for a reasonable price. So, we put together some of the best artists who can finally give you that tramp stamp 馃お
Bibi Abelle (Takoma Park)
Set up in Takoma Park, Bibi Abelle specializes in fine-line, realistic, small tattoos. Her work is coveted throughout the District, so much so that she was invited to do live tattooing at the opening of the National Museum for Women in the Arts last year!
TAH (DC, Private Studio)
Tah鈥檚 varied styles range from trippy, abstract, flash work to strong cover-up work (time to put a dragon over that ex鈥檚 name). She works out of a private studio, and has some of the most affordable rates in the city.

Fabio at Trilogy Atelier (Columbia Heights)
Fabio鈥檚 hyper-realistic style is mind-bogglingly close to the real thing. Perfect if you're looking to get a lifelike depiction of your childhood dog on your neck. He works out of Trilogy Atelier, a Columbia Heights shop that doubles as an art exhibition.
Tattoo Martian (Takoma Park)
Proudly one of the most affordable artists in the area, Tattoo Martian works out of Takoma Park鈥檚 Black Sheep Studios. Martian鈥檚 bolder style looks great on more traditional designs or lettering.
Jme___________ (Baltimore)
If you鈥檙e willing to trek up to Baltimore, jme has some of the most unique work in the area. His dark style draws heavily from fantasy and sci-fi influences. If you鈥檙e looking to immortalize your DND character, jme鈥檚 your guy.
