View a Revolutionary French Painter
Bonnard's Worlds is on view at the Phillips Collection with 60 of Pierre Bonnard’s paintings. The French artist was known for his magnificent use of color and movement, making it the perfect exhibition for spring. It’s the first major exhibition of Bonnard’s work in D.C. in 20 years. (March 2 - June 2, Dupont)
Watch a Tony Award-Winning Musical
Stephen Sondheim and George Furth’s groundbreaking musical comedy COMPANY is coming to the Kennedy Center. The show follows the protagonist Bobbie who discovers why being single, being married, and being alive in the 21st century could drive a person crazy. (March 12 - 31, West End)
🎉 Festivals
Go Hard For St. Patrick's Day
Head to Ireland at the Wharf Fest for a true Irish festival with rugby, dancing, bands, and a whole lot of Guinness. The 19th Street Band and the Ben-David Warner Band will both be playing. (March 16, The Wharf)
Celebrate the Persian New Year
Norooz Market is bringing traditional Persian music, food, and dance to the Brookland Arts Walk this month. There will be dozens of art and crafts vendors as well as a cookbook signing with D.C. chef Rose Previte. (March 16, Brookland)

🍨 Food & Drink
Try D.C.'s First Ice Cream Barlour!
Tipsy Scoop opened on Saturday, marrying your favorite ice creams with booze. The Vanilla Bean Bourbon is creamy, with a hint of whiskey, and the Cherry Blossom Old Fashioned, a flavor exclusive to D.C., is the perfect level of sweetness. Owner Danielle Hatchett tells us each scoop has the alcohol equivalent of a beer. (Chinatown)
Go To a Cherry Blossom Pop-Up Bar
D.C. loves its cherry blossoms, and a bunch of bars are already setting up pop-ups to celebrate the occasion. Get ready for floral decor, sakura spritzes, and boozy green tea Jell-O shots. (Location varies)
