2Fifty Texas BBQ:
2Fifty just opened its newest location in downtown D.C., selling almost 1,000 lbs of meat on opening weekend. It’s widely considered the best barbecue in the region, and we couldn't agree more. The brisket is out of this world.
La Bonne Vache:
Opening in Georgetown on Jan. 31, this French bistro will be serving up bougie burgers with toppings like peppercorn Cognac aioli, truffle brie, and smoked ham.
The Urban Grape:
This Black-owned Boston-based wine bar is opening its first D.C. location in Shaw tomorrow. The bar will offer more than 800 bottles from 25 different countries.
Pastis:
Starr Restaurant Group’s latest undertaking, this NYC-based French bistro is landing at Union Market tomorrow. Expect onion soup, duck confit, and schnitzel in a setting of antique mirrors and tile floors.

Moon Rabbit 2.0:
Kevin Tien just reopened Moon Rabbit with a completely revamped menu at a new location in Penn Quarter. The sweet potato dumplings with crab and wagyu beef dishes cannot be missed.
Aventino:
The chef behind the Red Hen and All-Purpose is opening a Roman-Italian restaurant in Bethesda on Jan. 31. The kitchen will be whipping out traditional Roman pizza, handmade mortadella, and truffle pasta.
Your Only Friend:
This cocktail bar/sandwich joint just opened in Mt Vernon with $16 cocktails and sandwiches. The sandwiches are thiccc and the cocktails are simple but creative with different twists on the martini and gimlet.
Sticky Fingers Takoma Park:
This women-owned vegan bakery is opening another location in Takoma Park today in the old Soupergirl space.
