Our team was given a choice: free weekly lunch when coworking, or one nice team dinner. Obviously, we balled out and went to the Michelin-starred Imperfecto. Here’s the rundown.
The scoop: Enrique Limardo (the chef behind Seven Reasons) wanted Imperfecto to combine Mediterranean and Latin American cusine. His third restaurant - Joy - opened yesterday, as a more casual option. So, if this looks good, give that a shot.
Don’t miss: The Aladdin Burrata with tamarind hummus, lentil tabbouleh, and an apple compote. Also get the Squid Ink Risotto with calamari sofrito.
Worth the money? The experience was lux, and the presentation glamorous. Some dishes (burrata) impressed us more than others (sorbet platter). Would be a great place to bring in-laws, parents, or to celebrate an anniversary dinner.
Details: Make sure to reserve in advance. Opens at 5:30 p.m. for dinner and 11 a.m. on weekends.
