D.C.’s best beers, according to an expert
June 27, 2023
Morning, friend! Wishing you were anywhere but planet Earth this Tuesday? NASA’s D.C. headquarters opened an immersive exhibit in its lobby yesterday where you can view the Earth from space. Bye bye, world.

What's CITY Talking About?
Front Door Bus Service
During late-night rides, Metrobus drivers will now make “courtesy stops” by request in between official bus stops. The policy is in effect on all regular bus routes (not express ones) between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. It aims to improve public safety by dropping off riders closer to their destinations. [WTOP]
More Evidence Against Falcicchio
One of John Falcicchio’s accusers has revealed details of the harassment she faced while working with the former deputy mayor, in a Washington Post interview. Falcicchio was the mayor’s right-hand man until he abruptly resigned in March. His former employee accuses him of kissing her despite her protests, masturbating in front of her, and retaliating when she refused his advances. [Washington Post 🔒]
- A city investigation has corroborated the claims, and the DC Council is calling for an independent investigation as well. We’ve got all the details. [City Cast DC 🎧]
Texting Bad Drivers
D.C. is launching a pilot program next month that will send messages to high-risk drivers, warning them to follow traffic rules. The program is the city’s latest effort to tackle the rise in deadly crashes. Data will be collected over one year to assess if the program reduced risky driving. [Washington Post 🔒]
- City Cast DC is covering the millions in unpaid traffic tickets and the consequences in tomorrow’s episode. Keep a lookout!
