Trump Touts Iron Fist on DC

Former President Donald Trump says he will “take over D.C." if he wins re-election this year. While presidents usually leave D.C. alone, Trump said he wants to make an example of the city and punish the "swamp." He could use his presidential power to influence city budgets, reshape Downtown, or even send in the National Guard if elected. [Axios]

Dali Exits Baltimore Harbor

The Dali, the cargo ship that crashed into the Key Bridge in Baltimore, is headed to Virginia after three months of waiting for a passage to be cleared. The ship passed the strait where the bridge used to be, and will take 16 - 20 hours to reach Norfolk. [Fox5]

MPD Takes To the Sky

The D.C. Police rolled out a new drone program to help fight crime along with a new, faster helicopter. The drones will assist D.C.’s Real-Time Crime Center by searching for missing persons and dangerous suspects, as well as documenting major crash investigations. [WUSA9]
