Former Mayor Critiques DC Council
D.C.’s former mayor Tony Williams, who turned the city around in the ‘90s, says D.C. Council is spending too much on government programs. "This is not the road to salvation. This is a road to perdition," he said, worried that the extra spending will send D.C. on an unsustainable path of borrowing cash. [City Cast DC 🎧]

Where Is It?

First, Where Was Last Week’s Photo?
This one is hard. This is the flower library, also known as the Tulip Library, tucked next to the Tidal Basin along Independence Avenue.
The garden has 93 beds with various blooms throughout the year. In the spring, it’s planted with Holland tulips, then various annual flowers throughout the summer, then chrysanthemums are planted in the fall.
It was established in 1969, as a part of First Lady Johnson’s Capital Beautification Project to make the National Mall more appealing. Now, it is an often overlooked gem for tourists and locals alike.
🏆 Congratulations to Andrew H., Melanie VR., and Brian T. for getting it right first!

Now, Onto This Week’s Challenge:
