MoCo Could Fine Loud Cars
Montgomery County is considering using noise cameras to crack down on excessively loud cars, saying they impact residents’ sleep and quality of life. If passed, first time offenders would get a warning and would be charged a fine not exceeding $75 after that. [WTOP]

Scotland Yard Examines WaPo Chief
British police are examining allegations that Washington Post chief Will Lewis destroyed emails and covered-up phone hackings when he worked at Rupert Murdoch’s newspaper business in 2011. The complaint came from the former Prime Minister Gordon Brown. [The Guardian]
StubHub Sued for Deceptive Pricing
D.C.’s Attorney General is suing StubHub, accusing the ticket resale platform of using deceptive pricing practices and hiding mandatory fees from consumers until the last minute. Stubhub denies these claims, saying it adheres to consumer protection laws. [Office of the D.C. Attorney General]
Fairfax Flubs Recent Votes
Fairfax County had to delay a vote on data center regulations and will have to redo three other recent votes after failing to meet a new state law that requires them to notify residents of upcoming hearings at least 28 days before a hearing. [Washington Post 🔒]
