Hey, neighbor! What are the essential rules to living in Washington D.C.? Today, we ask three Washingtonians – Jade Womack of Clockout DC, Dan Reed from Greater Greater Washington, and our own Bridget Todd – about how to live like a local.

What's CITY Talking About?
Quieter Skies Ahead
A new flight path for planes landing at DCA means neighborhoods along the Potomac River will finally get a break from the noise. Residents have been protesting the jet noise from the airport for years. One house even called in 7,000 separate complaints. [Axios]
Pro-Palestine Protesters Face Campus Ban
George Washington University students arrested in the pro-Palestine protests earlier this summer could have their misdemeanor charges dropped, but only if they agree to stay away from campus. The deal would restrict the student's access to any public areas on campus that are not their classes for six months. [City Cast DC 🎧, Washington Post 🔒]
Antisemitic Graffiti In MoCo
Antisemitic phrases were found spray-painted at a Bethesda elementary school. With classes beginning in just two weeks, the paint was quickly cleaned up, but police say they still have no suspects or description of the perpetrator. [WTOP]
