DC Sued For Using Excessive Force Against Protesters
The Civil Rights Corps is suing D.C. on behalf of nine pro-Palestine protesters for allegedly using excessive force during demonstrations outside the Democratic National Committee headquarters. They say police dragged protesters and pepper sprayed them, violating the First and Fourth Amendments. [Washington Post 🔒]
More Anti-Semitic Graffiti
Four public schools in Montgomery County were vandalized with anti-semitic graffiti on Monday, many of which were close to synagogues. Similar graffiti was found at Bethesda Elementary School on Aug. 11. The police are investigating all cases. [ABC7]
