New Commanders Stadium ETA

Washington Commanders owner Josh Harris says a new stadium could open in time for the 2030 season. He’s hoping it will be at the site currently occupied by RFK, but first, the federal government has to agree to hand it over to D.C. [WTOP]

  • Last year, legislation was introduced that would give D.C. a 99-year lease extension on the RFK land. The U.S. House of Representatives has approved, but the Senate has not. [City Cast DC 🎧]

Around 150 DCA employees began picketing outside the airport yesterday and continue today, demanding a union and better benefits for immigrants working at the airport. Most are employees of Master ConcessionAir which operates P.F. Chang’s, Wolfgang Puck, Peet’s Coffee, and Dos Toros’ concessions. [ARLnow]

Ending Rock Creek Parkway’s Reversible Lanes
