First, Let’s Answer Last Week’s Question:

Washington is a museum mecca, but how many museums are there in D.C.?

  • Less than 50
  • 50 - 70
  • 80 - 100 ⭐
  • Over 100

There are 82 museums in Washington, D.C., and I’m pretty sure no one has seen them all (except for maybe that one TikTocker who tried 🫢). From the massive National History Museum to weird local gems like the Mansion on O Street, they span the gamut in terms of size, subject, and location.

Chances are you’ve been to all the popular ones already. But, journalist Madeline Weinfield told the City Cast DC podcast which underrated museums you should be exploring too.

🏅 Nice work, Kathy F., Rob O., and Rida B. for guessing correctly first!

Now, For This Week’s Question:

What animal was never a D.C. local news icon?

  1. Franklin the Bear
  2. The Capital Fox
  3. Caddy The Rock Creek Crocodile
  4. Rusty the Red Panda

Fuddruckers Is Back, Baby!

That’s right, seven years after the iconic Chinatown burger joint closed, it’s rising from the ashes. This fall, it’s opening a location in Chinatown and another in Silver Spring. I wonder if it will be as good as I remember it 🤔
