First, Where Was Last Week’s Photo?

This is Culture House, a community-based art gallery and events space in Southwest D.C., close to the Rubell Museum.

Previously, it was the Friendship Baptist Church, home to one of D.C.’s oldest African-American congregations. It is one of the few buildings left untouched after the mid-century urban renewal efforts in Southwest.

Now, the gallery hosts shows by local artists, performances, and community events, while the surrounding garden boasts rotating murals.

🏆Congratulations to Dasha N., MacKenzi N., and Sharon J. for getting it right first!
