DC Mourns Anniversary of Israel-Hamas War
Yesterday marked the anniversary of the Hamas attacks on Israel and a year into Israel’s ensuing attacks on Gaza. Hundreds of Washingtonians attended vigils and remembrance events across the city to mourn and rally. Blue Ridge Parkway Closed
Blue Ridge Parkway is closed indefinitely after Hurricane Helene. The 469-mile road runs through Virginia and North Carolina, providing access to a lot of famous hikes like Humpback Rocks and McAfee Knob. [Axios DC]
