Hey, neighbor! The DC Holiday Market opens today just north of Dupont Circle. The market moved from its home in Downtown, but don’t worry, another has taken its place.
Also opening tomorrow is the Quill & Crumb, the brand-new café at the Folger Shakespeare Library and it’s giving Hogwarts.

A new bill introduced in Congress would ban transgender people from using bathrooms that align with their gender identity in any building owned by the federal or D.C. governments. The measure could extend to D.C.’s libraries, rec centers, and schools. [Washington Post 🔒]
Bus Fare Evasion Crack Down
The week after Thanksgiving, WMATA will launch an effort to go after fare evasion on Metrobus using uniformed and undercover police and video. Metro estimates that over 70% of bus riders are not paying the fare right now. [X]
