DC Has $1.6 Billion in Unpaid Tickets
The District is cracking down on traffic enforcement after racking up over $1 billion in unpaid tickets. New legislation adds eight crews to boot and tow vehicles with unpaid tickets and will focus on dangerous drivers rather than bad parkers. [City Cast DC 🎧]

ANC Election Redo

Metro Plans Open Payment System
Metro has released its proposed budget for next year, which includes longer weekend hours, revised bus routes, and an extension of the Yellow Line. Riders can also expect a phased rollout of an open payment system (paying with a smartphone or credit card) beginning in May. [WMATA, X]
