Monday’s snowstorm was the largest in three years, accumulating 8.3 inches of snow in D.C. While it may have made the city picturesque, it also resulted in two days of canceled school, hundreds of delayed flights, and reduced bus service. [NBC4]

President Carter's Public Viewing

Late President Jimmy Carter's body is lying in state at the Capitol Rotunda until tomorrow at 7 a.m. Capitol Police expect the visitor line to extend around the block. Carter died on Dec. 29 at 100 years old. His state funeral will be at the National Cathedral on Thursday night. [NBC4]
