The U.S. Institute of Peace is suing the Trump administration after DOGE employees forced entry into its headquarters on Tuesday. The independent nonprofit is accusing the administration of conducting illegal firings and trespassing. [AP]

MD Looks to Fund Abortions With Insurance Surcharge
The Maryland Senate passed a bill that would allow $25 million collected from a surcharge on Affordable Care Act insurance plans to be used for abortion services. If the governor signs the bill into law, clinics around the state can apply for grant funding. [Washington Post 🔒]
