DC Close To $3B RFK Stadium Deal
D.C. has almost clinched a deal to get the Washington Commanders to build and play at a new RFK Stadium. The preliminary agreement says that the Commanders would put up $2.5B, with the remaining $850M coming from the District. The team would be the “master developer” in charge of building the stadium and entire 180-acre campus how they want. [NBC4]

Kennedy Center Lights Goes Full Patriotism
The lights outside the Kennedy Center will now be permanently red, white, and blue to celebrate “American spirit.” Previously, they varied periodically, like featuring colors of the rainbow to celebrate Pride or the blue and yellow of the Ukrainian flag. [Kennedy Center Instagram]
Feds Revoke GMU Student Visas
The Trump administration rescinded visas from 15 international students at George Mason University. The school says it did not consent and is looking into legal recourse. Several additional visas were also revoked at Virginia Tech and Georgetown University. [Northern Virginia Magazine]
El Salvador Denies Senator Visit With Wrongly Deported Man
The El Salvador government denied a request from Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) to visit Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a Prince George’s resident who was mistakenly deported there. The senator says the El Salvadorian vice president told him the Trump administration is paying them to continue detaining Abrego Garcia. [Axios]
