The clash over the RFK stadium deal has begun. Mayor Bowser wants City Council to approve the deal by July 15, but the council say it's impossible to do while also considering the city's 2026 budget, which Bowser has yet to turn over. [City Cast DC 🎧]

Rock Creek Parkway Comment Period Extended

The National Park Service extended the deadline for public comments on its proposed changes to Rock Creek Parkway until May 17. One of the more controversial changes is eliminating reversible lanes, along with installing roundabouts, and widening bike paths. [NPS]
