Trump’s Military Parade Takes Shape
Unreleased planning documents for President Trump’s potential military parade in D.C. call for 6,600 soldiers, 50 helicopters, seven bands, and thousands of civilians. If approved, the event will take place on June 14 for the army’s 250th birthday, also coincidently Trump’s birthday. [AP]

Six Flags Closing
The Six Flags and Hurricane Harbor in Prince George’s County are closing this November. Now, the closest amusement park will be King’s Dominion, a two hour drive from D.C. [WTOP]
MD Zoo Names Surprise Baby Giraffe
The baby giraffe that came as a surprise to zookeepers in March has now been named Titali, meaning “butterfly.” You’ll be able to visit her in a few weeks. [Washington Post 🔒]
