House Pressures DC Council for RFK Vote
The House Oversight Committee sent a letter to the D.C. Council pushing them to vote on the RFK Stadium deal before the August recess. Specifically, they requested a prompt vote without “unnecessary” or “politically motivated delays.” [x/@SegravesNBC4]

High Tech Parking Initiative
A new traffic initiative by D.C. Councilmember Charles Allen would roll out automated billing in loading and pick-up zones as early as next year. The hope is it will ease congestion and eliminate parking confusion. [ABC7]

Rock Creek Tennis Center Makeover
The annual Mubadala Citi DC Open starts tomorrow at the Rock Creek Tennis Center with some big names including Venus Williams. The center is in rough shape and the city has big plans to refurbish it, but sadly this doesn’t include the nearby Carter Barron Amphitheatre. [City Cast DC 🎧]
