Bowser Investigated Over Foreign Trip

The New York Times reported yesterday that federal attorneys are investigating Mayor Bowser over a trip she and her staff took to Dubai in 2023 for a conference, paid for in part by Qatar. Bowser's office says it was a business trip and that they didn't know about the investigation. Late last night, Axios reported that a senior administration official told them Bowser was not under investigation and the rumor had come from a disgruntled FBI agent. Expect more to develop today.
