Judge Limits Warrantless Immigration Arrests in DC

A federal judge has banned agents from conducting warrantless civil immigration arrests without probable cause of flight risk, saying agents frequently ignored federal laws when making arrests. [Axios]

Youth Curfew Gets Extended

D.C. Council agreed to extend the city’s juvenile curfew policy until next April, as they consider whether the curfew should become permanent. It includes anyone under 18 out from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. [WTOP]

Alleged DC Pipe Bomber Arrested

The FBI arrested a Virginia man they believe placed pipe bombs near the Republican and Democratic National Committee headquarters before the 2021 Capitol riot. The arrest comes after a five-year investigation to identify the disguised bomber. [CNN]

Window Washers Rescued In Tysons

Two window washers on the side of a high-rise in Tysons were left dangling for over an hour after their platform came loose. They were later safely rescued by first responders. [Washington Post 🔒]
