Mayor Bowser lambasted the U.S. Department of Transportation’s proposal to eliminate traffic enforcement cameras in D.C., saying they are critical to street safety. Thousands Hit By Healthcare Cuts
As of Jan. 1, 16,000 D.C. residents were pushed off Medicaid due to new access limits. Most were transferred to a new program called Healthy DC but almost two thousand have been left without coverage.
