Norton Files to ‘Terminate’ Reelection Campaign
After months of speculation about whether Eleanor Holmes Norton would continue her candidacy for D.C.'s Delegate to Congress, on Sunday her campaign filed a termination report with the Federal Election Commission. Gross! Raw Sewage Flowing Into Potomac
After a pipeline ruptured in Montgomery County a week ago, about 40 million gallons of untreated sewage a day has spilled into the Potomac. Crews from DC Water worked over the weekend to reroute the waste. The spill does not impact drinking water, which is a separate system. [New York Times / X]
